Art action on a motorway car park
Tribute to drivers
A motorway car park is transformed into a stage for one evening. With a composition of images and sounds from the world of truck drivers, we want to show our appreciation to the drivers and give them a gregarious evening. After a long day at work, they can relax and immerse themselves in their associations. Everyone will see and hear something different in the images and sounds.
The experiences of the day merge with the feelings and thoughts that arise from the world of images and sounds. And yet it is a joint viewing and listening of people from very different countries who have been brought together by chance on this evening. With their reactions/interactions to what they experience, they become part of the artwork.
The audiovisual installation is precisely projected onto a parked truck. The sound comes from mobile, invisibly installed speakers. This creates the effect as if the truckitself is producing the images and sounds.
WHEELS – wherever truckers are on the road
